This project, completed in a visual representations course, helped me explore the importance of visual “mapping” or line tracing through a 2d aerial map that takes a 3d form at a human scale. This translation between map, city, and human while learning how to render was particularly interesting and focused less on color and more on forms, voids, and contrasts.
